Almaty- one of the ancient cities of Kazakhstan, southern capital, the scientific and
cultural centre of Republic has monuments which reflect some stages of its development.
The second stage-by number of settlements 4 - 3 ñ. AD - 3 c. AD and numerous chains of
barrows of saks and usun periods on the territory of the Malaya Stanitsa, streets
Kunaeva, Zenkova, Kasteyeva, in the area of the airport and settlement Burundaj.
Next period of development of the city is found out by the following as traces of five
medieval places of the 10-13c. AD on the territory of state farm Gorny Gigant, military school,
Botanical parkway and in the area of Almaty Ist.
Unfortunately the given archeological finds practically were not kept.
